Just booked my favourite seat for the first showing at my local Imax. Midday March 1st.
Sorted.
Well that was worth the wait. I was caught by surprise by a couple of changes from the book, but overall this was just too fantastic for words.
Remarkable. Audacious. Spell-binding.
There were more than 1 case of goosebumps for me, and also buttock-clenching tension and wide-eyed wonder.
A word of warning - if you didn't like part 1, you most certainly won't like this.
Another word of warning - it is about 2 and 3/4 hours and yes I had to take a comfort break. Helps to know the book here in choosing your moment 8)
Glad it sounds good, have had a need recently to watch a decent sci-fi film.
I just loved this tag-line for a review:
"Dune is a snarling cinematic beast of jaw-dropping scale and ambition".

Just seen it - a brilliant movie, though I did prefer Part 1 a little more.
