I sold my Rammstein ticket about a month ago, realising that I just wouldn't be able to make it because of work.  Weirdly, I had a positive covid test the day of the gig and my return train from kings cross the next morning was cancelled and I got a full refund.  I hadn't got around to organising how I was actually going to get to Coventry...

Whens the Hampden show on sale?  It was announced weeks ago..

Nick

Looks a spectacular show.

Could be heard 11 miles away by the whistling public

Worked as a photographer Tons of Rock 23-25 th. June, saw quite a few bands I dont care much for, and a few I like.

Next gig booked for me is Porcupine Tree in Berlin oct. 23 rd.

Pudders

Next 'big' gig for us is Big Big Train at Aylesbury. Lou will be trying out her new powered wheelchair so anyone else going, be warned!

^Interesting to know what BBT will be like without David Longdon.

He sadly died after falling down stairs: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-nottinghamshire-62253405

FM were great last night. The support (Mad Haven) were quite entertaining too.

Set list for those interested, of which the clear highlight for me was a stunning version of Story Of My Life in the encore:

Synchronized
Bad Luck
Life Is A Highway
Let Love Be The Leader
Long Road Home
Crack Alley
Killed By Love
Every Time I Think Of You
Crosstown Train
Over You
That Girl
Tough It Out
I Belong To The Night
Turn This Car Around

Encore:
Story Of My Life
Other Side Of Midnight

p.s. for the final song, Jem Davies left his bank of keyboards and joined the others front of stage sporting the biggest 'keytar' that I've ever seen!

I am sure he has got his letter of outrage already written.

Saw Sadowitz a few years ago, after having enjoyed his stuff in the 90's when he used to be on very late night television.

He wasn't very funny, really.  His magic was crap as well.

I've seen pretty much nothing of his performances but am of course aware of his schtick; he's been bumped right up my to-see list due to my curiosity being piqued by the censorious. And it being on a Friday night helps. :)
